Vanguard has been competitively selected as an exclusive implementation contractor for Jersey Central Power & Light Direct Install Program for all JCP&L Municipal Customers. This designation enables eligible public entities to access pre-approved energy efficiency services and pricing, eliminating the need for a separate public bid or RFP process while maintaining compliance with program procurement requirements.

The Direct Install program is a turnkey energy-efficiency initiative designed for small-to-mid-sized schools and municipalities to upgrade outdated equipment. It offers up to 80% of upfront costs for lighting, HVAC, and refrigeration upgrades, with the remaining balance often financed at 0% interest.

These incentives are geared to specifically serve the Public Entity sector, which includes schools and municipalities. Preliminary energy assessments of facilities and equipment inventories are performed, in addition to providing retrofit labor in support of the Program.
